Manufacturing Warranty
I am dedicated to meticulous craftsmanship in producing and curating jewellery pieces of exceptional quality and contemporary designs.
This warranty statement constitutes my formal assurance to you upon the acquisition of a Solis Forge product.
Manufacturing Warranty on jewellery items:
I am pleased to provide a Two (2) Year Manufacturing Warranty covering any and all defects in materials or workmanship on purchased items, completely FREE. It is important to note that this warranty explicitly excludes situations such as loss, theft, changes resulting from body weight gain/loss, or damage due to wear and tear. Most manufacturing defects will show up within the first few weeks of wearing.
Should your product display a fault, I will arrange for its repair or replacement. If the product is unable to be repaired or replaced, you will be issued store credit equivalent to your original purchase amount.
DISCLAIMERS: Promotional items and free jewellery are excluded from the foregoing Warranty. Size changes are not allowed as part of the warranty. Size changes are only accepted on rings and within the 30 day exchange period starting immediately upon receiving your ring. Please see my return/exchange policy for further information. My warranty does not cover weight loss or gain. If your original ring contains any of the following precious materials (gold, platinum, solid silver, meteorite or diamonds/stones) I will ask that you return the ring back, for me to be able to process your warranty for a new ring. There is only 1 warranty claim per ring unless the issue is a consistent manufacturing defect, in that case I have you covered! This Warranty does not provide refunds. Please be advised that repair or service of your item performed by anyone other than Solis Forge will automatically void the Warranty. Also note that any required repairs not relating to manufacturing defects may incur fees. I am not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during transit when returning your product for claiming under this warranty.
What’s Covered: Manufacturing defects relating to the structure of the product, including:
- Any stone settings that are not in place identified upon receipt of product
- Clearly visible blemishes in the metal that can be observed by the naked eye without image enhancing tools identified upon receipt of product
- Chips, scratches or nicks in finishing that can be observed by the naked eye without image enhancing tools identified upon receipt of product
- Wearing of plating that can be observed by the naked eye without image enhancing tools identified upon receipt of product
Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include, but not limited to, the following:
- The discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, make-up, immersion in pools and hot tubs, or bathing
- Precious metals, like gold or color plating will wear over time but will wear faster if exposed to harsh chemicals (including hand sanitizer)
- Alternative metal rings (such as Tungsten) and ceramic rings are scratch resistant but not scratch proof. Tungsten and ceramic rings may break if dropped on hard floors or with an unusual amount of exposure to harsh chemicals (bleach, Lysol, hand sanitizer). This type of damage is not covered under this Warranty
- Certain rings scratch more easily than others, for example, black zirconium will show scratches very easily as compared to titanium. Scratches are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered defects, however, most are repairable for a fee
- Obvious submerged water damage to your wood ring will void your Warranty as natural wood rings are not meant to be submerged in water, and it is always a good idea to take them off before swimming or showering, just to be extra safe
- The loss of a precious materials (diamonds/stones) caused by damage from everyday wear or from other damage
- Loss or theft of your ring
- Size changes
If I determine or reasonably suspect abuse of the privileges provisioned to you under the Warranty policy provided with your purchase, or the submission of an unsubstantiated claim of defect, I retain the right to invalidate your Warranty coverage. You may also be requested to return the impacted item to Solis Forge.
