Returns and Refunds

You may return your purchased item within 30 days from the date of delivery for a refund.  I recommend reusing the original shipping materials I used to ship your items to you. When returning an item for a refund, you will be charged a return shipping fee by your courier.

Engraved rings cannot be returned due to change of mind or incorrect sizing. However, they may be exchanged for a different size only once, within 30 days from the date of delivery and will incur a fee of an equivalent of 50 Australian Dollars, if the same design is available within the desired size.  If the same design is not available, you will be issued store credit equivalent to your original purchase amount less 50 Australian Dollars.

For countries where your customs department will hold your order until duties and customs fees are paid, Solis Forge cannot be held responsible if you refuse to pay any incurred duties, taxes and customs charges, or fail to make payment on time, and your shipment is held at the local postal office. I will not be able to process a refund in this case.  However, if the order is returned in pristine, original condition, and is neither a custom order nor has personalized engraving, I can process a refund minus a shipping fee.

Exchanges

You may make only one exchange request per purchase, and it must be within the 30 days from the date of delivery. We recommend reusing the original shipping materials I used to ship your items to you. When returning an item for an exchange, you will be charged a return shipping fee by your courier.

If the reason for exchange is due to an incorrect ring size, the ideal way to get your proper size is to visit a jeweller before you process your exchange.  If that is not convenient or possible, then you can download a printable sizer to double check your size.  Also please reach out for further support on how to check your ring size.

Please remember, only one free exchange is permitted per purchase.

Here are some tips to know if the ring you have bought is the right size.  If the ring slides off your finger easily when you shake your hand, then you probably need at least one full size smaller.  If the ring spins too freely around your finger without resistance, but doesn't fall off, then you probably need half a size smaller. On the other hand, if your ring cannot make it past your knuckle, then you probably need at least one full size larger.  If the ring can make it past your knuckle but it feels uncomfortable, and is difficult to take back off, then you probably need half a size larger.

If you are uncomfortable with all the existing sizes, please reach out to discuss other options (such as custom sizing or expandable rings).

General Rules for Exchanges:

  • Engraved/customised items can only be exchanged due to incorrect sizing. However, they may be exchanged for a different size only once, and within 30 days of the original received date, and will incur a fee of an equivalent of 50 Australian Dollars (AUD).  If, for whatever reason, the same design ring is not available in the desired new size, we will do our best to provide you with the closest design possible, or offer you the choice of a different design.
  • If you order a ring without an engraving and want to return it to add an engraving, please note that there will be a $30 engraving fee to cover exchange and labour, in addition to any shipping fees that apply.
  • If you are exchanging a non-cutomised item for another of the same value, you will not be charged any additional costs besides shipping fees.  If you are exchanging for an item with a lower value, you will be refunded the difference. If you are exchanging for an item with a higher value, you will be charged the difference. 
  • Once you have exchanged your ring, you may not request a further refund. 

General note on Returns and Exchanges: To be accepted for either a return or an exchange, all items must be in a clean, "as-new," and fully resalable condition. I reserve the right to decline any return or exchange request, or to impose a damage assessment fee, on any items exhibiting excessive wear or other signs of misuse.

Please note that I can only perform refunds to the same payment method as the original purchase. Alternatively, a coupon for the same amount as the refund can be provided for use later.

Please allow for 3 to 5 business days for refunded amounts to be returned to the account used for making the purchase.
